Safety Operations Procedures for Weather-Related Conditions

Pirates’ Cove Water Park’s #1 priority is guest safety. Industry standards require we adhere to the following safety procedures:

Lightning strikes within a 20-mile radius require the closure of our large tower slides

Lightning strikes within a 10-mile radius require the closure of the entire park & guests must take shelter

From time to time, the weather will prevent the park from opening at the beginning of the day or cause us to close early at the end of the day. We advise that you refer to a weather app to determine the weather for the day of your visit, as we do not issue refunds due to weather-related conditions.
